There are many installers that are owed many thousands of pounds for boilers that they installed as part of a scheme called the Energy Companies Obligation scheme (ECO), this was stated by Mr Adam Mitchell, the founder of Futureproof which is an organisation that provides installers with a regular flow of work in their particular areas and gives support for the tenedering for more work. A Chingford Plumber can install all types of boilers. He says that his members are suffering for the good faith they placed in the Governments carbon reduction initiative. He says that there are professionals right across Wales and the England who have not received payment for theinstallation of boilers and insulation, form over six months ago. It appears that they have been victims of a governmental decision to extend the deadline for ECO targets. This has resulted in energy companies now not funding providers who in turn have claimed that their funding has gone. Chingford Plumbers are professional installers. Customers are benefitting from the installations, and the governments carbon reduction is on track, and green deal providers have benefitted also from The ECO, yet the installers are not being paid for quite literally thousnds of ECO jobs. Unless the government addresses this issue there will be many hard working professionals who will go bust. Mr Mitchell has called upon Mr Ed Davey, the Energy Secretary to urgently take some action regarding this matter, he said, hardly a day passes without Futureproof hearing a new horror story about installers who have suffered at the hands of the ECO. I would be more than happy to discuss the extent of the problem with Mr Davey and explain what needs to be done to put matters right. As stated, The Futureproof network that was lauched last October helps installers to maximise the green deal and ECO.
